Recently, the words that come to mind when I think style are glamour, volume, and sexy. Those are all things I associate with 1960’s style. A way recently I’ve been loving to bring the 60’s style into my own wardrobe is through hair and hair accessories. Scarves are a recent favorite.

I just love the way the scarf is twisted in the front. It’s both elegant and playful.

Anne Hathaway just looks so classic with her throwback hairstyle. She pulls it off so effortlessly.
And of course my absolute favorite style inspiration from the 60’s is the makeup. Dramatically done-up eyes and a subtle lip just SCREAM 60’s pin up girl. A look that is very evident in my day-to-day makeup look.
Blogging is not something I have done in more than a year, but I’ve decided to change that. Becoming a make-up artist is something that I’ve wanted for years, and after going through some inner turbulence about whether I could make this dream a reality, I’ve decided to devote as much time as possible to my desire. I think that I need a place to showcase what I’m doing, and what I’m thinking about aesthetically. (Even if it is solely for me to get a handle on it). SO, that’s what this blog will be for. Me charting my journey through the world of beauty and fashion. and trying to figure out what that really means.

I don’t have anything great to say right now, but I would like to let everyone know that this is my 100th post to tumblr. Huge accomplishment, right?
because sometimes it doesn’t seem right to “♥” posts.
Keegan’s film festival movie. I did makeup/was zombie on right of screen. He really should have won, because I think he did a spectacular job!
I am getting really excited for school.
I’ve been making collages on my notebooks and everything! haha I’m so ridiculous.
